The idea of change


It is very hard for anyone to accept the change that might happen in life. Change takes many many forms like change in work, change in where u live and change in your relationships. However i would like to discuss the change of habbits and life style in order to live a better life. That kind of change like quitting smoking and starting a healthy diet plan and so on. The one thing that concerns me is the concept on "The one last time" that we usually face during making the decission of change i.e: one last cigarette and one last fatty meal etc. It might seem to be OK to many people but let's figure it that way: You found a very beautiful person that u fell in love with, perfect is the perfect word to describe your soul mate, you too talk a lot and u confess that u are having an affair with someone else, Your soul mate disapprove it and ask u to choose between her and the other person, so u tell her the following " I love u so much and i promise u to be faithful my entire life 100% BUT i would like to sleep with the other one just "ONE LAST TIME". Imagine how would the reaction of the person that is supposed to be your soul mate be after u tell him/her that. we should apply this model when we are coming to make a decission ofchange, the concept of "one last time" is so wrong and unjust to the new change.



A very dear friend once told me he's going to write a self-help book, i got excited and asked him how it would be, he told me:"Well, it would be hundreds of white blank papers and i will leave a note in the last page saying: If u want to change, do it NOW"
