Somewhere in Sunnah it's mentioned that a son a good son shouldn't outspeed any of his parents. It's actually one of the few things that I always do, I thought it was a matter of respect and prestige. Even today when I and my mom were walking home, she started walking before me as I had to finish locking up, but my fast pace reached her at the first quarter of our way home, then without saying a word I kept walking behind her in sufficiently slower and shorter steps and my mom now is twice as young as I am were walking so fast, I wondered why but as usual didn't think too much, so as we reached the door of our building she said her first word since I saw her on our way home, she said: "I beat you to it." It seems that my looking so innocent mom was racing me to home with all her souls, and while she was speeding up the stairs saying:"First, first, first." and I am behind her smiling. My mom was overjoyed, given the facts that she won a race with a health young man half her age. I know my mom, she is too smart to fall for it, but still, she didn't forbid her self from the happiness of winning such an imagenary race, also I have never discussed this walking slowly thing with her before and the act of walking slowly behind her out of respect seems unplausible since she always accuses me of disrespect to her own self.
Oh my beloved prophet of Allah, your advice was right and as I always let my teachers down in this life, If I stay in my same shoes I will probably let u down too, I am sorry for that, but I actually did everything I can and its insane to do the same thing again and expect different results!
What i feel, what i read, what touches me, what annoys me, what worries me, what confuses me, what leaves me helpless without answers!
